Instrument clusters, infotainment systems, head up displays - if you’re looking to customize the inside of your vehicle, Visteon has a solution. Visteon’s state-of-the-art products can transform a mundane automobile into something right out of spy or superhero fiction, and more importantly, make driving safer and more convenient. When navigating its voice systems, Visteon found that it needed help to get where it wanted to go.
Always looking for the best and brightest technology, Visteon Corporation wanted to find a new solution to improve its global communication network. It had long since relied on an Atos Unify PBX system to maintain communications, but as time went on it began looking for a replacement. Turning to Tata Communications Ltd (TCL), its communications provider, Visteon called for aid in deploying a new Microsoft Phone System.
TCL, in partnership with Continuant, both experts in the voice world, worked together to help Visteon deploy a new Microsoft Phone System, using Direct Routing to enable Microsoft Teams to make PSTN calls. In certain places, such as the company’s Detroit, Michigan headquarters, this new system replaced the old PBX completely. In some other countries, Continuant provided a Ribbon SBC gateway to connect Teams to the Unify system.
Once the migration is complete, 6,000 users will be able to make calls and collaborate efficiently with Microsoft Teams. With Continuant and TCL helping navigate, this Teams migration can go full speed ahead.
“I wouldn’t be able to do my job without Continuant, providing the day to day management of our system.”

“Having a partner with one hand to shake instead of one throat to choke for the management of our UC solution and telephone support has been a great advantage to Shriners. It’s saved Shriners in resources of 3-4 FTE (Full time employees) to help manage our environment.”
