Morneau Shepell is a company that provides resources to help manage employee benefits for other companies. It takes an integrated approach to employee health and assistance, providing the tools and expertise to help organizations solve complex problems related to well-being, engagement, and financial security. When it came to the health of its own communications systems, Morneau Shepell found it need some assistance of its own.
Though Morneau Shepell is based in Paris, France, it also maintains several key locations in the Canada, India, and the US. The people at these three auxiliary locations were looking to leverage a Microsoft Calling Plan to improve communications between them. While many other companies prefer the Direct Routing solution (a method that allows them to connect Microsoft Teams with existing voice systems) Morneau Shepell preferred to build a new voice solution from the ground up.
Tata Communications Ltd (TCL) and Continuant came on to help build this solution. The companies worked together to host a design workshop for the systems in India and the US. Soon enough, Continuant began work rolling out the new solution, enabling 550 users in India and 700 in the US.
That’s only the first phase. In time, Continuant plans to roll out the same solution for 6,000 more users, mostly in Canada. All in all, Continuant and TCL are more than happy to offer the benefits of their own technology to Morneau Shepell.
