John Peeler

John Peeler joined Continuant after a long and distinguished military career, where he served as a Colonel in the United States Army for 30+ years. While serving in the U.S. Army, Peeler undertook various critical international and domestic strategic and tactical assignments in support of national security interests. These positions included leading the 2nd Brigade Combat Team, 1st Cavalry Division in Iraq; Director of Operations of the US Army ‘s Combined Arms Center and the 1st Armored Division; and Chief of Plans at US Central Command.

After retiring from the military, Peeler was a Senior Trainer/Mentor/Advisor for the United Arab Emirates Land Forces, UAE. He also spent two years as Country Manager, African Contingency Operations and Training Assistance Program in Kenya for Engility Corporation.

Peeler earned a B.S. degree in Business Administration from Regis University and a M.A. in Organizational Leadership from Chapman University. He also attended the Kennedy School of Government at Harvard University for a Post-Graduate Fellowship in Management and Leadership.

Raised in a military family, John is a native of Tampa, Florida; however, he now enjoys living in the Pacific Northwest, where he and his family make the most of outdoor recreation activities.
