Jim Danna, a retired Colonel from the US Army with 30 years of service, brings to Continuant extensive experience in operations management gained in the public sector. In the US Army, Danna led soldiers at all levels up to and including Brigade Command. He has extensive experience planning and directing a diverse set of operations, including duties as the Chief Operations Officer for an Army Corps Headquarters that was responsible for operations in Iraq and Afghanistan involving over 100,000 personnel. He is adept at working with diverse groups where consensus, coordination and communications involve multiple stakeholders with varying interests.

Danna first joined Continuant as the Director of Operations, significantly impacting Continuant’s Engineering, Information Systems and IT, and Service Delivery teams.  He received a special recognition award for his work as Director of Operations in 2015, and naturally progressed into his current role as Vice President of Operations and Enterprise Engagements.

Danna is a graduate of Moravian College in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania, with a degree in History. He also earned his Master’s degree in Management from the University of Maryland and holds two Master Degrees in Operational Management and Design from the United States Army Command and General Staff College. Danna is a decorated United States Army combat veteran.
