Before joining Continuant in 2015, Emett Sclabassi had already demonstrated his ability to work hard and accept challenges that might have intimidated any young person. While working for an outdoor sports rental company, Emett started out as a young teen renting kayaks.

By the time he turned 18, Emett had been promoted to trainer, shift lead, and manager. He also managed inventory and processed orders from the rental company’s wholesale distributors.

After deciding he needed a change Emett learned about Continuant and applied for a job in the Customer Service Center. As he recalls, “Going through the job interview, I immediately knew I wanted to be part of the company. I saw opportunity, and a bright future ahead of me so long as I worked hard.”
Not surprisingly, Emett was hired. As he recalls the first week, “I felt like I was a part of a big family with a goal in mind: delivering outstanding customer service.”

While he started his career at Continuant working as a Customer Service Representative (CSR) on the North America shift, Emett subsequently moved to the Asia Pacific (ASPAC) team, and eventually, the Europe Middle East Africa (EMEA) Team.

One year later, Emett was promoted to the position of Named Account Manager (NAM), where he took on the lead position. He notes that one of the aspects of the job that he most enjoys is training customer service representatives and watching them grow and take on more responsibility.

Emett was born and raised in Olympia, Washington and loves hiking and camping on the Olympic Peninsula. A musician and composer, Emett also attends as many concerts as he can.
