One of the company’s newest additions, Allen Newton joined Continuant in mid-2016, where he holds the position of Global Partner Manager. In that role, Allen manages the partner and vendor community for Continuant—which includes “vetting” all new partners and vendors and developing relationships with partners whose business goals are aligned with those of Continuant. This critical role includes managing the thousands of partners that provide on-site technical support to Continuant’s customers, as well as continuing to expand the extensive list of partners that Continuant already has.
Prior to joining Continuant, Allen spent seven years on Active Duty Service with the U.S. Air Force, where he was an aircraft cargo loadmaster. He currently serves in the U.S. Air Force Reserve. While on Active Duty, Allen visited all seven continents, where, in his words, he “enjoyed learning about many different cultures”—a background that will serve him well in his new role at Continuant.
In his five deployments, Allen’s service included serving on Presidential detail, where he helped ensure the safety of the Commander-in-Chief. He also provided humanitarian relief during many natural disasters around the world as well as delivering supplies to troops globally. This background in international logistics, according to Allen, positions him well in his new role: “In working with others in different regions of the world, I was able to build long-lasting business relationships with resources to whom I can still reach out.”
A Kentucky native, Allen moved to Washington State in 2010. He holds a B.S. degree in Business Administration from Trident University International. He currently resides in Tacoma, Washington, where he enjoys watching local sports teams, hiking, and kayaking.
