Tata Communications partners with Continuant to enhance digital cloud communication platforms

Alliance to offer Cisco solutions globally for enterprise customers

Orlando, FL – March 27, 2017 – Today at Enterprise Connect, global managed services provider, Continuant announced an extension of its strategic partnership with Tata Communications, a leading global provider of communication and managed services, to provide dedicated hosted Cisco collaboration solutions to enterprise customers worldwide.

The partnership combines the strengths of Tata Communications’ global connectivity and platform capabilities with Continuant’s industry-leading experience maintaining existing legacy systems and transitioning companies to the cloud. The result is a one-stop-shop solution for companies seeking fully managed, scalable cloud solutions.

According to a research study by Global Market Insights, the unified communications market is forecast to hit $96 billion by 2023. And, while there are many options for enterprises to consider when implementing their UC cloud strategies, usually those options are limited to shared technology with limited voice features, implemented by multiple vendors. This situation often leads to a lack of management visibility and analytics, and also presents interoperability issues and inconsistent user experiences.

“Together with Continuant, we look forward to providing a single solution with endpoint-to-data center visibility, management, and accountability with a single point of contact for service,” said Gaurav Anand, Vice President, Strategic Partnerships and Global Alliances, Tata Communications. “Continuant has more than two decades of experience taking care of enterprise communications platforms, and has earned a reputation as a service leader. This partnership enhances our current offering and enables us to offer a consistent experience for our customers with a high level of interoperability – key to providing a true unified communications experience.”

“The partnership with Tata Communications will help Continuant continue to expand globally in markets that need fully managed, feature rich and scalable cloud solutions that require a high level of customer service—via a one stop shop,” said Doug Graham, CEO, Continuant. “Tata Communications has an extensive global network and is the only operator with a wholly owned fiber ring around the world.  They bring the power of global connectivity and IT platform infrastructure to Continuant’s existing customer base.”

Tata Communications runs the world’s largest wholly owned and most advanced subsea fibre cable network. This underpins the fifth largest Internet backbone globally, carrying over 25% of the world’s Internet routes. On top of this, it connects operators to 4 out of 5 mobile subscribers and also connects businesses to over 60% of the world’s cloud giants. The established infrastructure, connectivity and reach serve as the foundation for the platforms and ecosystems that Tata Communications is providing to enable digital evolution and transformation for customers globally.
