Continuant Files Antitrust Suit Against Avaya in Federal Court

In August 2006, Continuant filed an antitrust lawsuit against Avaya, asking the federal court to enjoin Avaya from using anticompetitive tactics to monopolize the market for post-warranty maintenance of Avaya telephone systems. We anticipate that this case will go to trial early in 2012. A victory by Continuant will be a victory for all Avaya telephone system owners, as increased competition will encourage all vendors to provide high levels of service at the best price possible.
