Our ideal candidate will participate in the implementation of solutions that employ leading edge technologies such as .NET 3.5, MS SQL Server 2008, XML, SOAP Compliant Web Services and IIS in a Windows environment. The ability to program in a complex and fast-moving environment, great interpersonal skills and a high energy level are a must.
Requirements
• At least 5 years of experience in the design, development, and deployment of innovative web applications in a fast-paced customer focused environment
• Hands-on development experience with Web Services, XML, SOAP, ASP.NET, SQL 2005/2008 and C#. Experience with SharePoint is a plus
• Candidate must be able to effectively work independently and within a team environment, and must have experience working within a project oriented, multi-tasking environment
• 5+ years’ experience with XML, .NET, SOAP, C#/ASP.NET/ Web Services
• Solid demonstrated work experience with web-based and/or client-server development
• In depth knowledge of .NET framework and libraries for .NET 3.5
• In depth experience with TSQL ,SQL 2008, SQL 2005 using relational database technology
• Background in Web Technologies: D/HTML, XHTML, XML, XSL, ASP/ASP.NET, JavaScript, VBScript, AJAX, CSS
Development Tasks
• Participate in the design/development of web-based and client-side applications using .NET Framework 3.5 and development tools with Visual Studio.NET 2008.
• Develop Web Services applications using XML, .NET, SOAP
• Develop components/modules/scripts implementing business process rules
• Interact with Business Analysts and/or end user community to gather and analyze technical requirements
• Maintain and support existing .NET applications while also developing new applications
• A desire to work with the latest tools, technologies, and methodologies - Visual Studio 2008, SQL Server 2008
• Enjoy working within a fast-paced, collaborative, and team-based project environment
• Web service experience including SOAP
• Experience with MS Windows SharePoint Services 3.0, SharePoint Designer 2007 is desirable
• Ability to analyze and resolve complex technical problems
• Able to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences
Education and Training
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or MIS is desirable
